These lids are very thoughtful in their engineering. The plug for the straw is firm but not too tight, as is the coffee sip part. I like having the straw that fits right in, and has a larger diameter as well -- most of the other metal straws I have are too thin, and most tumblers don't have a lid that fits the straws specifically, or centers them. Additionally, unlike the (admittedly fun and easy to clean) yeti mag slider, lids, these ones don't leak at all if they're closed. The ability to have an all in one koozie turn into a tumbler is honestly an amazing idea as well. I can't fathom why none of the other big companies have done this yet. Huge kudos to Frost Buddy. Next up, let's make one that fits the XL Buddy, eh Frost Buddy?

I love the universal for its multi functionality. How ever I must warn you that you have to be careful with the lid here cause the hinge will snap if you don’t open it carefully enough. I have been through 2 of them already. One was a replacement but I didn’t know if I could get it replaced again. Which is unfortunate cause it costs 10 + shipping and tax to get a new one. It still is a great concept I just think there needs to be an improvement with the lid.

I purchased a sports buddy for my son for Christmas by mid January the little rubber plug came out of lid and so it would leak every time we tried to use it. I contacted them asking if I could purchase a new lid but was unable to find replacement online. They replied very quickly and said they’d send me a new lid when they had more come in. That was in February and it now July, still no new lid, no updates, nothing. I spent over $30 for a cup and can’t even use it.

I love all Frost Buddy products that I have so far, including this lid and straw set! I purchased this to go on my Paint Merica Universal 2.0 and it looks great IMO. It isn't quite the shade of red I was expecting/ picturing in my head, but it is still beautiful and matches/ blends well with the cooler/ cup I bought it for. I am 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend!
