The most recent gadget I have bought is the iPhone 12. This model represents a significant upgrade over its predecessors, offering a robust set of features that appeal to both casual users and tech enthusiasts. Let’s dive into the details. My last one was iPhone 6, white, 256Gb and definitely is really an upgrade for me. The black iPhone 12 is a testament to Apple’s commitment to premium design. The matte black finish on the back contrasts beautifully with the glossy, flat-edge frame, reminiscent of the iconic iPhone 5 design. This design not only gives the phone a sleek, modern look but also enhances grip, making it comfortable to hold. It supports MagSafe and Qi wireless charging, and fast charging via the Lightning port can get you up to 50% battery in about 30 minutes with a 20W adapter (sold separately). Running iOS 14, the iPhone 12 offers a smooth and intuitive user experience with features like widgets, the App Library, and improved privacy settings. The Apple ecosystem integration is seamless, making it easy to connect with other Apple devices like the Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. The black iPhone 12 is a powerhouse of a smartphone wrapped in a beautifully designed package. It balances form and function with an impressive display, powerful performance, excellent cameras, and future-proof 5G connectivity. While it may not have the Pro models’ extra features, it offers incredible value for most users. Whether you’re upgrading from an older iPhone or switching from another platform, the iPhone 12 in black is a solid choice that delivers on all fronts.
80% Battery, No Warranty
Abba· Review provided by Target · September 24, 2024
I won't buy a certified phone from Target again. This was my negatice experience: I was told I could not look at the phone, or examine its condition or check the battery capacity before purchasing the phone. Fair enough, it's kind of a lot of money (couple of hundred dollars) to buy something sight unseen. Target assured me the phone is refurbished and warrantied. I buy it. You must set it up to your phone number and SIM card, then you can check the battery capacity. It's 80%. Apple would not sell this poor quality phone. No warranty information comes in the box; there are no terms the consumer can read to know their rights and recourse if the phone is in bad condition. Though the box says "Satisfaction guaranteed by limited warranty". Label says, "included in box: phone, battery, charger" with a picture of the cube and cable. However, the charging cube is not included in Target's certified phones, only a cable. And a used and unrestored battery. The reason the battery capacity matters is that this certified phone won't hold a battery charge to make a long phone call. The phone needs to be charged every 3 hours. I called Target to ask for the terms of the warranty or if they had another certified phone to exchang this one for, and I was told I would need to call AllState about the warranty. WHAT? When did AllState enter the picture. Nothing on or in the box mentions AllState. I called Apple's 800 number and this IME is outside of the warranty terms with Apple. tldr: runnaround, poor quality phone, poor value.
Be aware

Shoppers be aware, they use a third party and Walmart gives customers a 90 day replacement and or refund. Which is not understandable when you didn’t purchase it straight from Walmart!! I purchased the phone for my daughter and it was a defective phone, so I called one day over Walmart warranty and I didn’t even know it was a warranty from Walmart to replace the phone! The issue is that the phone was defective, and the third party were willing to deal with their third party seller to replace the faulty phone, Because of their own warranty. So I asked Walmart for the company email to contact them myself! So be careful when buying under Walmart from there other parties. Walmart would be an issue if you aren’t aware of the Walmart warranty they have. The third party company isn’t the problem! I’m waiting on a response from company now, because I was told from Walmart when I was calling that the company would replace the phone, but they aren’t going to do it because of Walmart warranty It only been 3 months and some weeks of having the phone
[Rewarded Review] Don't buy Pre-Owned iPhones from Best Buy

This iPhone was absolutely terrible. It had chunks of aluminum frame either gouged out or badly scraped so you could see the aluminum under the paint. The back was OK. The screen had noticeable scratches. One across selfie camera and one below it to the right as you look at the screen, also the screen was scraped on the bottom very noticeably. The scratch below the selfie cam was noticeable whether the screen was on or off.

The battery was at a horrific 76% of total capacity.

All that does not justify its $500 price.

For less than that, you can buy a pre-owned iPhone on Amazon in much better condition under their Renewed or Renewed Premium programs.
