I like the slide feature on this lid. It prevent spills when tipped over and seems to keep things colder longer than my straw lid. I ordered this for my 35 ounce rambler and the only drawback is when you try to drink the last several ounces it tends to spill and you have to tip the rambler to the point if covers your whole face. It’s also impossible to drink the last several ounces while driving. The spillage may be somewhat related to my gracefulness (lol) but also just due to the size of my rambler. While I like this lid it dies have drawbacks

I originally got a 20z tumbler for my birthday. Someone stole my Magslider and I'm sorry Yeti but I bought replacement. This replacement was horrible...no magnet slide and the suction didnt seem perfect. I bought the authentic piece from Yeti and everything make sense again. Easy to clean and no hard to reach area. Also the perfect suction prevents the little bit of leakage the crappy one had. Never again will I make that mistake.

I ordered the lid because I had lost the magnetic slider from mine. When it arrived I put the whole new lid on my cup filled with water and turned it upside down over the sink. It leaked quite a bit from all around the slider. My original lid did not leak so much as a single drop. I was quite disappointed with this. Luckily I only really needed the slider so I just put it on my existing lid. Still pretty disappointing that the new one leaked given the price of just the lid!!

I saw only a horrible review for this product and thought that really doesn’t do any justice to this product.
I LOVE THE STRONGHOLD LID!!!

I have a few older yeti 20oz tumblers and had almost completely quit using them for them because I couldn’t put the older lids in my bag for work and bumping in my car had caused me a few leaks and spills that had left me frustrated.

BUT…
I had no idea there was a new lid design until I received the 30oz tumbler for Christmas and was so excited to see that this mug can actually get tipped over and even be turned upside down without spilling!!! This lid solved every issue I have had with yeti mugs!!

I now have use this mug everyday as my “go-everywhere-with-me” water bottle and it’s been everything I have been looking for in a cup, I also love the handle that lets me clip it to my work bag or gym bag!
I have not stopped talking about this mug 😍

The complaints I saw in another review described it as being hard to take apart the new lid and even harder to put back together.
I honestly don’t understand that at all, it came apart so easily!!! And wasn’t hard to put together at all!

I’ve had several other brands of mugs that require a lot of force to take the slider contraption off, I’ve broken many nails off in the process and this was incredibly easy, the instructions were straightforward once I found them but even without them it’s not complicated at all!! and to me, once you do it once… you pretty much have it… clicks apart and back together with minimal effort!!
After receiving this gift this will be my go to mug for my whole bridal party this year, I know they’ll be as obsessed as I am with this upgrade 😍😁
