I LOVE these colored mag sliders. They are the perfect way to dress up a Yeti. I do have an issue though: **I only have one of the 3 colors (King Crab) so the other two that come in a pack of 3 are of no use to me. It would be great if you could just buy the one color you need. Furthermore, I get that Yeti keeps updating available colors and there are a ton of limited edition colors that are here and gone quickly. Here's the thing, I don't browse Yeti all the time and If these supplemental products are also only available for a limited time, then I will likely miss the opportunity to pick one up. Yeti realized that a few years back, there were a TON of people doing powder coating to customize their Yeti's so they started doing their own color selections. Well, guess what, there are also people out there making Mag Sliders in Colors that Yeti has retired, or never issued. Seems like they should keep these things available and again, please allow us to buy just one.

The difference in this lid versus the other magnetic sliding lids on the market, is that you can Remover rubber gaskets and magnet to wash this! you can put the lid in the dishwasher after you remove those pieces; and the magnet and gaskets -wash by hand. This helps to ensure you’re actually getting in there and getting it completely clean! It protects the sliding mechanism in the process as well. This means that it will last longer and not fall apart or become loose like other lids. These are NOT leakproof so don’t turn it upside down or anything but it does seal off in a way that keeps your drink fresh and tasting great while being protected from the outside environment (wherever you may be)… also cool that you can remove this and/or purchase separate and mix and match with your other yeti cups. They even have a chart on the website that tells you what size you need for the compatible cups. Super convenient and helpful! The lid is like $10 which seems pricey for a lid but the magnet and gaskets and the longevity of this component makes it worth it along with the fact that it can be used on a smaller tumbler for your coffee in the AM, or wider bigger for iced water at the ballpark with the kids or on your yeti wine cup, etc! Whatever floats your boat.., you can do it. As long as they’re compatible. Or buy one of each size small, med; and large so you have one to fit anything yeti in your cabinet ☺ 9/10 recommend. Took one point since it’s not leakproof 100%

This review is not specifically related to the slide tops but to an experience that lead to purchase of my Yeti Rambler 24oz mug with handle. About a year age while leaving the airport, I was followed by an individual that I was certain was about to rob me. The only thing I had for defense was my Yeti 16oz tumbler without a handle. Worried that it would slip from my hand, I still able to made it obvious that I had it and was ready to defend myself with it. I just kept say to myself...I wish this had a handle! I made it safely back to my vehicle and I told my husband about the experience when I arrived home. It was at that moment, I decided that I was going to order the 24oz Rambler mug to fly with and vacation. Thank you Yeti for making a great quality product and for giving me the confidence and security of traveling alone.

Who knew you could match your tumbler lids with your tumblers by color coding the magnetic slides! How convenient! I ordered these colorful slides for fun, since YETIs are family affair for us. What we all immediately noticed is that we can grab “our lid” and run— without the “Hey! I can’t find a lid!” Now that we have different colored slides, we just match lids to tumblers when we put them away after drying. Easy peasy! We used to have a messy stack of lids in a kitchen drawer 🤷🏼♀ Thanks Yeti!
