June 10, 2024The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds offer an impressive upgrade in sound quality and noise cancellation options compared to their predecessors. Users will appreciate the superior audio performance, which delivers a richer and more immersive listening experience. The enhanced noise cancellation features provide greater flexibility in adjusting the level of ambient sound, catering to various environments and preferences. **Pros:** 1. **Exceptional Sound Quality:** The sound performance of these earbuds is a standout feature, offering a noticeable improvement over older models. The audio is clear, detailed, and well-balanced, making them ideal for music enthusiasts. 2. **Advanced Noise Cancellation:** With multiple levels of noise cancellation, users can customize their listening experience to block out unwanted noise effectively. This is particularly useful in noisy environments or during travel. **Cons:** 1. **Limited Battery Life:** One significant drawback is the battery life, which lasts less than 4 hours on a single charge. This is a noticeable reduction from the previous model's 8-hour battery life, making it less convenient for extended use without frequent recharging. 2. **Poor Call Quality:** While the earbuds provide excellent audio for music, they fall short in delivering clear sound during phone calls. Users report that while they can hear calls clearly, the person on the other end often hears significant background noise and experiences call breakups. This issue has been consistently observed by multiple users, indicating a potential design flaw or software issue. 3. **Frequent Disconnects:** Users have also reported frequent disconnection issues, particularly with the iPhone 15 Pro. This problem disrupts the listening experience and can be frustrating, especially during calls or while moving. **Conclusion:** The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds excel in delivering high-quality sound and versatile noise cancellation features, making them a great choice for music listening. However, the reduced battery life, subpar call quality, and frequent connectivity issues are significant downsides. For those who prioritize music and noise cancellation over call performance and stable connectivity, these earbuds may still be a viable option. For users who require reliable call functionality and consistent connection, these issues might be a dealbreaker.

October 5, 2024I have been using the new Bose Quietcomfort earbuds for the past month - during busy commutes on the train and tube, in and out of London, and when relaxing at home. Regardless of the activity or environment, I could not stop being amazed by the amazing sound quality and comfortable fit of the buds. As I normally struggle to retain sound buds in my ears - most makes just drop out at the least amount of activity - I was not very hopeful at the first use of the Bose buds, but despite sometimes running for a train, or jumping a step or two on a staircase, these buds remained seated, with a good seal, while feeling so comfortable that, at times , I almost forgot I had them in my ears. And the richness of the sound just blew me away - from the deepest of basses that you could almost feel, to the clearest of high notes - true high fidelity as though one was at a live music event. To my mind, the sound is even better than that of high- end, over -ear headphones, and since having started to use the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, I have not once taken my over-ear headphones out of their carry case. The noise cancellation is also the best that I have yet encountered: with noise cancellation on, one cannot even hear someone next to you talking, but it also has a setting for 'aware', which amplifies background sounds, and ,of course, 'off'. All the controls can be managed by tapping the earbuds with the finger, using voice controls as well as via an enhanced app. The app allows the user to customise all the features (including an equaliser setting) ,creating a true personalised control system for the earbuds. The controls for the earbuds are the most extensive that I have yet encountered, including even a facility to take a selfie with a fingertip against one of the buds, bud are very intuitive and easy to master.
I am someone that loves my music, from hard rock to classical and jazz, and do appreciate high quality sound. Having found earbuds that can deliver this in spades and can remain comfortably in your ears while on and off trains and switching between calls and music with the tap of a finger or a simple vocal command, has been a very positive experience. This new offering from Bose has certainly exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend the new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds highly enough.

September 23, 2024I recently got a pair of wireless earbuds that come with a dedicated application, and I must say, I am absolutely delighted with my experience so far. The app allows for a high level of personalization, enabling me to configure the earbuds to suit my preferences. One of the standout features is the ability to change the actions of the left and right earbud, adding an extra layer of convenience that I truly appreciate. Additionally, the app provides a clear indication of the battery levels of each earbud.
These earbuds have amazing touch controls. Very responsive, making it easy to manage music and calls. However I did run across a little quirk when doing some activities accidentally my hand would touch earbuds which in turn stops music. It would be great if an option is provided that could be enabled/disabled, which would allow one to shut off the touch controls for specific activities.
Comfort is another strong point for these earbuds. I have always struggled with earbuds that either don’t stay in place or cause discomfort after prolonged use. To my surprise, these earbuds are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. The rubber piece around the earbud ensures a nice fit and I don't have to worry about them falling out while moving around. I can wear them for extended periods without any discomfort, which is a huge plus.
On a positive note, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature, which really cuts down the background noise, allowing me to listen to music or podcasts with clarity.
In summary, these wireless earbuds offers a fantastic blend of comfort and customization, coupled with remarkably well-functioning active noise cancellation. Admittedly, there are a few features touching on call quality and a couple of issues with touch controls that indeed need some time for improvement, but I would go ahead and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable audio solution.

October 4, 2024I have had these headphones for weeks now and really put them through there paces including rigorous workouts, noisy train journeys, on the move music production - I’ve asked a lot of these headphones and they have not disappointed! I would highly recommend these to anybody and I believe they are better for the price than some other fruity headphones on the market!
As I’ve come to expect from Bose, the sound quality is top notch. The bass packs a punch, especially for such small earbuds. The mids’ and trebles are spot on, enhanced even further with the ability to customise the sound in the app. I’m a big fan of house music, and I’m pleased to say these headphones deliver everything I need!
Once I worked out the best band/tip combination for my ear shape, they haven’t fallen out once in the month I’ve owned them, and I’ve really put them through their paces! Calisthenics, headstands, skipping, nodding off reading a book - they do not budge! I’ve had them in for hours on end with no discomfort and zero ear fatigue. A perfect fit, which I’m sure can be replicated for anyone given the choice of ear-tips that come in the box.
Noise-cancellation is just as important as sound quality to me nowadays, and these little earbuds outperformed my more expensive headphones hands down! The different modes lend themselves excellently to different scenarios, enabling me to completely block out or be mildly aware of my surroundings.
For me, the customisation is a real stand out feature of these headphones. The app is easy to navigate and allows me to really pinpoint my sound preferences, whether that be for different genres of music, podcasts or watching films on long journeys. The sound quality has been exceptional, including phone calls in very noisy environments.
Bose haven’t overstated the battery life. True to their word I’ve only had to charge them a few times a week with regular usage. My only slight gripe is with the case; it would benefit from some sort of rubberised coating to give it a bit more grip and less likely to slip out of my hand, but that’s me really nitpicking! Overall, I’m very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfortable headphones that sound great and stay put!
