The touch keyboard is awful & constantly creates
sranyc· Review provided by samsung.com · October 7, 2024
I am a woman with small hands and fingers. Yet, no matter how I have taken advantage of keyboard layouts or made adjustments, I get so many mistakes and have to do corrections literally for every few words that I type on the screen. The amount of stray characters and additional letters being inserted, even when I use the space bar between words. And what makes it worse is the terrible suggestions predictive text makes, or the mistakes it inserts! I used to be able to type on any of my BlackBerry keyboards throughout the years so fast with two or more fingers, without virtually ever needing to look at the screen or keyboard, and was able to produce text, long mails and even draft very long documents mistake free 99.9% of the time. The amount of mistakes that come up on my S23 Ultra keyboard is always voluminous and it is frustrating and a time vampire to keep having to reread every 3 or 4 words to make corrections, and then having to reread what I type over and over to ensure the corrections are mistake free. probably made in excess of 100 corrections while typing this.

I frigging hate this phone and get so frustrated, but the few phones with real keyboards on the market now are garbage.

Plus I failed to mention I get terrible shooting pains and pins and needles in my fingers, hands and shoulders throughout the day, on a daily basis from having to touch this screen to write messages, or use the net.

This phone would be awesome with a real keyboard. I really am so disgusted with this phone, but there isn't anything much different out there to resolve these daily anxiety producing issues.

Separating from the lesser spec pattern, the S23 has similar lead Qualcomm processor as its beefer kin. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the heart that pushes the telephone forward with its 8 GB of smash and 128 GB of capacity. The telephone is basically as smart as any lead I've used to date. I've just run over a couple of times where an application would secure or compel close, yet hiccups were not many and far. The blend of the sound battery and the top of the line chipset makes the S23 additionally stupendous for versatile gaming. I've been running Honkai: Star Rail habitually since send off day to phenomenal outcomes. This is a game that requires long play meetings in which I didn't once feel awkward grasping. The S23 everything being equal in the gaming scene, doesn't run excessively hot.

Sound emerges from the base terminating speaker and the earpiece. It gets rather clearly, yet holds respectable quality without becoming twisted at more elevated levels. The projection isn't as filling our entire sounding as I've listened to happening to a few late telephones, however it finishes the work all around ok when you don't have a couple of bluetooth miniature headphones associated.

AN Overlooked Yet truly great individual
The S23 is a particularly straightforward telephone to survey. Genuinely it has the right form materials with its aluminum casing and glass body to feel like a costly telephone. The lead chipset keeps it up there with the most elite and the camera arrangement do
Big mistake Terrible experience The only Samsung phone I have hated.

I absolutely hate this phone. I actually was very happy with my Samsung Active 8, asnd I love to keep things until I absolutely have to make a change. At the time, Att was promoting the new Samsung 23, at no cost and I when to get that one, but I was talked into the Samsung Ultra by the very talented ATT person because my job requires me to take many many photos. I was told the storage capacity of the Samsung Ultra was a TB. About 3 weeks after I up graded, the phone began to it act up. When I was trying to take a picture the screen would suddenly shift right before I would tap the button. Other things were happening, but I was just thinking it was a new phone and I needed to just get use to it.
The phone is to large for my hands and it very very slick. It is a sleek phone gold trim and lavender body, but slips easily causing me to be nervous that I would drop the phone. I have purchased 4 cases with extra protection.
I did not realize that the screen going over the edge of the side of the phone was such a terrible feature. This makes holding the phone and using it very difficult because your fingers will touch the side a little too much and it interferes with texting or what ever I am doing.
The screen is very easily broken which is something I have never experience before with my cell phones. I had it in an otter box case with cover so the phone was enclosed in an otter box. The phone slipped from my hand slid down my leg and fell about 2 1/2 feet and landed on the parking lot asphalt right by my foot. So, being in an otter box, sliding down my leg and landing right by foot, I did not expect the screen to pebbled and shattered with little spider line cracks that rippled out.
I have been to Att 5 times related to the phone. I have been told that well, it's out of warranty, live with it, maybe Samsung would replace the phone but i may have to pay it off, and more.
As of Sept. 12, 2024 I cannot send nor receive text messages which is a big part of my daily work. Another visit to the local Att store and 3 1/2 hours later I left and still could not send or received text, advance support could not fix it, the supervisor of advance support could not figure it out. I let them know that I had sent our a large number of text the day before and they said that shouldn't be a problem since I have unlimited talk and text. It is Sept. 26, 2024 and I still cannot receive or send texts.
So I have a very expensive phone that has been nothing but a huge pain that I hate. It has a cracked screen because the design is such that it is susceptible to damage, that I pay for a plan with unlimited talk/text that I can not use that feature with my contacts. Oh, I can receive text from Att, and other companies, but not anyone on my contacts list. That shifts when I have lined up my picture causing blurred or repositioning. If there is any noise aside from my phone playing a video, or audio file, forget it.. I feel like a fool, I have tried but I don't know how to get this corrected. Did I say that I really hate this phone?
[Rewarded Review] Exceptional device, best I've ever had.

In my time with the s23 Ultra, I have had nothing but positive experiences. These include but are certainly not limited to the excellent screen, long lasting battery, powerful cpu, optimized UI and the momentous amounts of features. As an avid user of technology I have pushed this phone to its limits in terms of how it performs and it has held up to every test, application and task I have thrown at it. On the topic of pushing limits, the cameras on this device is immaculate to say the least. Every photo I've taken, people have marveled at the quality. The detail it is able to capture, even on the basic modes, is excellent. Moreover, an often overlooked item of this phone is the s-pen. The hands free functions it is able to perform is outstanding. Everything from taking hands free pictures, to adjusting my volume without my phone in reach. The only thing I wish would be added would be remappable functions for the pen, seeing as though not every app uses the pen to its full ability. More over, the mere fact that this pen can work across all Samsung devices has made me consider getting the new tablets. On the topic, this phone fits perfectly as the heart of the Samsung ecosystem. The seamless connections between the s23 Ultra and it's accompanying devices is extraordinary. This fact alone has made me dive further into the Samsung ecosystem due to how seamlessly and smooth everything works together with this device. Overall, the s23u one of the most astounding phones of this year.
