I used to get root beer milk delivered from the dairy. It was delicious! Then the dairy stopped making it and I haven’t found anything remotely close to it since then. When I saw this Root Beer Protein drink I had to try it. It definitely has the consistency of a protein drink and the protein scent, but once you get used to it, (if you’re not used to protein drinks already) you’ll love it! I like Vanilla flavor better, but Root Beer is a very close second! I hope they keep making it! I understand trial periods, but when I like something and then they discontinue it, I really dislike that! Although, I do understand I’m not the only customer they have to consider.

I love the flavor and texture of this shake. It needs to be more than a limited edition shake because it’s one of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted. For people who need a high calorie shake add some vanilla ice cream to make it thicker and more like a real Root Beer Float.
I need this for the inclusion of protein and low calorie in my diet. My husband however, needs a protein shake with high calorie as well. It’s difficult to find both of those in one brand unless you’re adding ice cream to increase the calories. This shake has no aftertaste as many other shakes do.

Premier Protein Shake, Root Beer Float 30g protein was a gamble that paid off. Having not been a protein shake drinker before now, I wanted a unique flavor as I found myself needing protein shakes for medical reasons. Why go for something basic? I dove right in and I'm glad I did. The flavor Is reminiscent of a root beer barrel hard candy. I don't find that it is gritty, cloying, too sweet, or having an aftertaste. I am giving a few to my 86-year-old father as he may find the flavor nostalgic, too.

The product smells like a rootbeer float upon opening, but the taste is terribly bitter...it's awful. I didn't give it to anyone because I really believed it tasted so bad noone would like it. I took the entire box to the trash and called it "an expensive lesson learned."
Don't waste your money because there are other products that are generic brands that taste good and will provide one with essential vitamins and protien.
I really don't like to give a bad review, but after one sip the after taste was horrible.
