I read multiple reviews on these and they looked the goods! I shoot western action in an outdoor range (.44-40 pistols and rifles and 12ga shotguns). These seemed like a great pair of earplugs that let you open them up when off the range to talk and then close them up when heading back, no more taking them out and forgetting to put them back in!
Unfortunately they do not fit well and when you do get a good seal they quickly slide back out again after a minute or so (usually when I am shooting).
The last few competitions I have used these I have had severe tinnitus and discomfort and will no longer take the risk of trying to get them to stay snug. Cheap foamies work better than these, I believe the higher tier foam tipped Surefires would fit much better but will not be using rubber ones again

I bought these for my husband, as a birthday pressie. He suffers with Combat PTSD, and these ear thingies cut out unnecessary background noise, and makes him focus on what YOU are saying, and not what is going on around him....they reduce the decibels/loudness of music and chattering.
He is becoming more reclusive month by month due to noise, as he can't process or filter out other's spkg around him.

But we managed to attend our church fete AND a Christmas market in town yesterday 30/11....and we didn't have to race home to the quiet.

Great product, loved the discretion of the clear ones, loved the removable plugs with caps. Would live up to description if they fitted, but the tips don't come in different sizes and I have to change to small tips on music earbuds etc, so these didn't fit my ears (hence not 5 stars for me and poor comfort rating). These won't seal in my ear canal properly and securely, so they don't do the job for me (thus poor protection rating). Also, I was looking for something that doesn't quieten the entire frequency spectrum - I need to quieten low and high frequencies only, leaving speech frequencies unaltered. These do not do that. They DO allow you to hear everything clearly, just quieter.

Bought for a concert. Was totally useless. Actually I consider these unsafe to use. They failed badly in a simple concert, zero effectiveness which cuased me to have ringing ears the next day. These are not safe and should not be sold. Cheap foam ear plugs woudl be far better. I tossed them out.
